About Red Bud, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Red Bud is located in the northwest part of Randolph County and is an easy, quick commute to St. Louis. Seasonal weather means warm summers and cold winters and everyone in town is welcoming and friendly.  It is a great place to settle for anyone who works in the city but wants a quieter home life. Its history dates back to 1820 with the construction of the first little log cabin and the first school was established just 4 years later, in a local home.  The first store opened in 1841 and, afterward more settlers and businesses moved in.  An area was laid specifically for homes, which was partly covered with redbud trees… and the rest, as they say, is history.

Red Bud is stationed at the meeting point of three state highways (Illinois 3, 154 and 159).  They meet at the city’s 4 way stop and this makes it a great place to live for anyone who wants access to plenty of transportation into the city, or elsewhere.  It is a small town that won’t make you feel trapped. Its cyclical climate and welcoming atmosphere make it a scenic and idyllic home for families, retirees, or anyone who likes peace and quiet. But, the town is close enough to St. Louis to enjoy big city amenities and conveniences.

If there is one thing that gets every kid in the county excited, it is the fair!  And, parents love it too. The last Sunday of every July, residents flood to the Monroe County Fair, which is held at Waterloo Fairgrounds in the nearby town of Waterloo. They enjoy exhibits of farm tools, petting zoos and farm animals, photography, art, music crafts, quilts, and much more. There are also, of course, plenty of enjoyable fair rides.  Throughout the occasion, local establishments offer food and drink while fairgoers enjoy fellowship and a little old-fashioned fun.
